Update on Nate

Nate's breathing tube is out. Kendall has never been so excited to here his voice. He is in good spirits and is very appreciative of all the concern and love expressed. His family is relieved to have him conscious and joking around.

By the end of the week, we should have a date posted for the fundraiser. There is talk of a 5K being earlier in the day and a concert/fundraiser that evening. If you have any company that is willing to donate items or services for the auction, please email me. We will compile a list, so we aren't contacting the same company by multiple people.

If you have an item you would like to donate, please email me (a picture and description would be helpful). I will be making a list to post online to get excitement. We may even have a continual auction here on this blog. We will work it out.

A call for Help

On November 1, 2009, life forever changed for Nate and Kendall Brandon. Nate had gone for a motorcycle ride with a friend. The friend looked back and noticed that Nate wasn't with him. He drove back and found Nate lying on the ground next to his bike. The ambulance and paramedics were called, and Nate was life flighted to U of U hospital.

He broke his neck.

Nate is getting better and better odds each day to be able to walk again. Today he is up to a 15% chance of walking again. Nate and Kendall have the faith that he will walk again. But this is a hard path they are taking. As friends, family and loved ones, we are gathering to support and help them in any way. Many things are going to be needed in the near and far future. Kendall was laid off weeks before the accident. They have medical insurance, but no income.

We are in the process of fundraising for Nate and Kendall. If you would like to donate, you can go to any Bank of American Fork and donate to funds for Nate Brandon. Paypal is being set up at this time.

We are looking for a location to hold a concert and/or raffle and auction.

A 5K is being set up.

Donations are needed for the raffle/auction.
